today women's hockey matches of Olympic games in London 2012

As we know that the event of the year is being held in London that is giving us a lot of source of entertainment with out losing a single moment .On August 2 the 6th day of Olympic games 2012 five women's hockey matches will be play. Today's matches of  women hockey Olympic games in London 2012 will be play pool A and Pool B.Women's Hockey - Preliminary Round Group A will play 3 matches and women's Hockey -Preliminary Round Group B,7 2 matches.

1st   match            Korea                    vs      Japan                        at   8:30.        A       

2nd match            Australia                vs      USA                           at   10:45.     B

3rd match            China                       vs     Netherlands             at   13:45.     A
4th  match           South Africa             vs    Germany                    at   16:00.    B
5th match            Belgium                   vs    Great Britain              at    19:00.    A

The men’s and women’s Hockey competitions start with a preliminary phase the 12 teams  are divided into two pools of six, and every team will play in its own pool In the preliminary phase, the winner team will receive three points and one in case of match draw.

In the knockout matches, in case of match tie the extra time will provide (two 7½-minute periods), with a golden goal - the first goal scored - for win the match. If still tied, the match is decided by a shoot-out competition of five attempts per team.
